YouTube Music has launched a new AI labeling system that lets listeners identify tracks created with generative AI, including composition and vocals, with labels shown on the player page and expandable to the main YouTube app; the platform worked with music partners and deployed its own detection tools to classify works as fully AI-generated, partly AI-generated, or not AI-generated.
